Juliette RAFFORT
Biologist, Hospital Practitioner at Nice University Hospital

Juliette RAFFORT-LAREYRE (MD, PhD) is Consultant in Medical Biology, specialized in Clinical Biochemistry at the University Hospital of Nice and Chair holder in Artificial Intelligence at 3IA Côte d’Azur (Interdisciplinary Institute for Artificial Intelligence, France).

Her group focuses on applications of Artificial Intelligence for patients with vascular diseases. She works on aid-decision support systems to enhance evidence-based decision through a translational approach including identification of biomarkers, automatization of vascular imaging analysis and development of predictive models.

During her training, she was rewarded with the Gold Medal of the residents at the University Hospital of Nice as well as the Thesis Award in Medicine. She specialized on research on cardiovascular diseases and graduated a PhD in Sciences. She is working at Centre Mediterranéen de Médecine moléculaire (Inserm U1065, C3M, Nice, France) and she did two fellowships in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Cambridge (United-Kingdom) and in Paris Cardiovascular Research Center (PARCC).

She achieved more than 110 publications accepted in scientific and clinical peer review journals. She obtained the French accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation à diriger des recherches- HDR) and she is member of the French and European Society of atherosclerosis. For her translational research, she was awarded by the Academic Award of the French National Academy of Medicine and a Prize of Excellence from Université Côte d’Azur (France).

Thank you to the engineers working with us on AI applications in vascular disease.

Cédric ADAM
Doctorate in scientific computing.

A graduate of ENSTA Paris in computational and applied mathematics, he continued his studies at the Ecole Polytechnique, where he obtained his doctorate. Passionate about new technologies, he is interested in the field of artificial intelligence and more particularly in the application of computer vision to medical imaging.

Marion CARRIER
Modelling and simulation engineer and data science expert.

Trained in bioinformatics, she obtained an engineering degree in software engineering and modelling. Passionate about the living world and digital technologies, she devoted the early part of her career to the mathematical modelling of complex living systems in the MICS laboratory at École Centrale Paris. She is interested in the application of AI technologies to the medical field, particularly through the combination of knowledge models and statistical models.
